GO AVCHD [Sony HDR-UX7 for sale]

OK, here's a cautionary tale for you. I finally decided to stick a couple toes into the HD water by purchasing a Sony HC7. After searching on eBay for several days I placed the order with B+H. Then up popped a great deal on eBay, so I cancelled the B+H order and went for the auction. When it arrived Monday, to my surprise, it was a UX7. I had, in my haste, misread the auction.

So, here is a new HDR-UX7, purchased by a guy for his wife on May 7, 2007 from B+H (receipt will be included). She said it was too much camera for her, so he sold it on eBay to me.

I charged up the battery and formatted a DVD. Everything looks solid.

Now it can be yours, almost New In Box, plus 4 half hour DVD's, shipped (insured UPS ground to CON-USA), including PayPal, for $900.

Decklink HD Extreme and/or HDLink

I have a Decklink HD Extreme (PCIe) that is for sale. It is almost new ... I bought it in March for uncompressed capture for a week long shoot, but haven't used it since and it has been sitting in its box.

Still under warranty ... I am looking for $750 + shipping for the card. Let me know if interested. Thanks.

I also have the Decklink HDLink that can go with this card for a full monitoring solution as well. Let me know if you are interested in both items together.

Are these cameras by any chance PAL/NTSC switchable?

Cheers
Mat

Steven Davis June 22nd, 2007 06:59 AM

Feeler - For my two little Pans

I have two of these http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-PV-G.../dp/B0001DBEJ2

I also have a larger battery with each. I replaced these with two Sony V1u's. These cameras would be good for a deck or a back up side camera. I've produced several weddings with these. I have had them for about 3 years but they are in mint condition and have not had any problems.

The best application for these is actually to hide in a potted plant or something. They are very small.

I'm posting to see if I can get some interest. I paid 500.00 a piece for them, and some 60 bucks for the larger batteries. I have the power cables and remotes to go with them. I'd love to recoupe a decent amount of my money.

Ken Grohs June 22nd, 2007 08:11 AM

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th pictures in your "bump" post aren't there.........

Jonathan Jones June 22nd, 2007 10:43 AM

Yeah, I think I would definately be interested in picking one up to use as an extra side backup for a good low cost 3-chipper....depending upon what $$ you are interested in getting for them. What ballpark are you thinking about? -Jon

Steven Davis June 22nd, 2007 11:24 AM

From what I gather, the used price per unit is around 400 bucks. I think I would hover around that price and throw in the extra long battery.

I hate to part with them, they've been a good set. They're really good backups, if not like I said, a flower pot cam.

Mat, to the best of my knowledge - these cameras are band specific. So you cannot switch inbetween PAL and NTSC recording. This is the NTSC model.

Sorry for the holdup with the pictures Ken, I'm working on a solution

maurice, i think it's the incedible gains in the new mac processors that are hurting you (as well as the recent drop in price for good 19" monitors).

new technology really devalues the used stuff in this category.

It's not that your price is unfair, or greedy. It's just that it can't compete with newer alternatives.

sorry to offer an opinion that isn't good news.
But take heart. I am wrong ALL THE TIME, and seldom know it.

:)

good luck

Sennheiser ew100 Lav System

I have two lavs, receivers, and transmitters that are in immaculate condition and work perfectly. All pieces are very clean cosmetically with hardly any sign of wear. These units performed flawlessly and take excellent sound. I am offering both sets for 600 dollars. I don't think you can find anything current on the market that compares (price wise) I have been a member here for some time and have a 100 percent rating on Ebay. I will accept Paypal (you pay the fee), a certified check, or a personal check if you are willing to wait for it to clear. Shipping is on me. Email if you are interested. Currently, I will only sell them both but there is a possibility that I will break them up and sell them separately.

Powermac G5 1.6 with Final Cut Express HD

I have a Powermac G5 computer for sale; 1.6 Ghz processor, 1.25 GB of RAM, an 80 GB hard drive, and a superdrive that records DVD+/- R/RW and CD-R/RW discs. Comes with Final Cut Express HD, iLife 2005, Toast Titanium 6, and the last version of Appleworks. This computer is running OS X Tiger (OS 10.4). All the original software discs and license keys will be included. It has a clean install of Tiger.

I've upgraded to a Mac Pro with Final Cut Studio, and no longer need the old girl. I had it on ebay but didn't feel comfortable with any of the bidders (zero feedback, new members, that sort of thing).

It was purchased in July of 2004 and has been used in a non-smoking, non pet home. It is in excellent condition with no scratches, dents, or broken pieces. It was purchased right after one of Apple's "speed bumps". As such, it was shipped as a "refurbished" product, but I have never seen any indication to show that this computer was anything but brand new when I purchased it.

I would like to get $900 for the whole thing, but all offers will be considered. Money order, business or bank check, and paypal all accepted. If you want to pay by credit card but not through paypal, I can arrange to run it through my store, but would rather not.

Shipping will be actual cost, your choice of shipper. If you're in the Pittsburgh area, you can pick it up at my hobby shop in Hopwood (Uniontown area).
