I purchased this laptop in October of last year. I use it strictly for video editing and have had no problems running Adobe Production Studio CS2 and live capture from 2 cams via DV Rack.

The system will ship in its original box with all software and paperwork it came with. The thing works like new because it practically is. I have only used it as a backup system for editing with Premiere Pro - which I hardly ever do because I prefer Final Cut. Selling because I'm moving to Mac.

Hi Michael,

How quick do you need to sell your FX1? I'm considering selling my Canon A1 and want to replace it with a FX1.

Michael Stewart August 21st, 2007 04:13 PM

Hi Mark, not in a real hurry. I'd be honored if you owned it :)

Mike

Sheila Ward August 21st, 2007 07:06 PM

Sold. Thanks Martin!

Eugene Kim August 21st, 2007 08:36 PM

I'd sell you the following as a package:

1) Studio1 Productions 12.6' aluminum boom pole. Note, this does not have the hot shoe adapter, but instead a standard 3/8"-16 threaded male tip that I used in its place (this is the tip end that all professional boom poles and shock mounts use).

2) Shure SM-93 omnidirectional lavalier microphone. This is a hard-wired, XLR, phantom powered lavalier that is in the mid-range of lavalier microphones. It has a very natural sound to it, excellent for the human voice, and comes with a tie bar/clip mount.

3) Shure SM-58 handheld dynamic vocal microphone. Industry-standard for live-stage performances, but also can be used just fine for man-on-the-street/reporter type stuff with the caveat that the handle's on the short side. The top of the grill is slightly dented, but this isn't really noticeable on camera, and it comes with a red foam windscreen (albeit one with a dirt/spot stain).

4) 2 25' XLR microphone cables with top notch neutrik connectors.

Price:$90 for everything, shipping included.

Payment by paypal.

Canon XH A1 For Sale

I am selling our Canon A1. It includes everything in the original box plus one extra Canon BP950 battery and a three year extended warranty from Techshield, which I am told is much better than the Mack extended warranty. I am also including a $200 credit for any training materials in our online store.

We bought the camera in April and have used it for about 12 weddings. It was our third camera during the ceremony. We also used it for a third camera for 5-6 weddings during the First Dance and Parent Dances, so I has very low hours on it.

The camera, extra battery and Techshield warranty total a value of $3670 and with the $200 store credit takes the value to $3870. I am selling it for $3200 plus actual shipping charges.

The reason I'm selling? It doesn't fit well with our two Z1s, so I'm looking to replace it with a Sony FX1.

Please feel free to contact me by email or phone.

Hey all - OK dropping package price to $2300 for the whole kit - lens, extra battery, tiffen filter set, case, follow focus.

Again, this camera is in IMMACULATE condition - never used to capture either.

Chris Hurd August 22nd, 2007 12:35 PM

By the way that's an excellent price for this kit -- somebody needs to jump on it...

Benjamin Wesely August 22nd, 2007 01:46 PM

still for sale?

i am looking for a black gs100 is yours still for sale? would you know where i could find one?

Boyd Ostroff August 22nd, 2007 01:56 PM

Hi Benjamin. Highly unlikely that camera is still available since this thread is three and a half years old!

Aside from that, we don't allow forsale items in the camera forums. Please use our Classified Ads forum for this, however you must be a member in good standing for about a month before you can access the forum. You should meet that criteria though so I suggest you place a want ad here: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/forumdisplay.php?f=16

Lisa Shofner August 23rd, 2007 01:05 AM

Hmm. My price is probably too high. I think $900 would be fair, no paypal fee and no extra shipping cost.

Yannick, I couldn't find any way to contact you.

Eugene, I'd take you up on that in a second if my cam had XLR and I wasn't planning on filming overseas (does the boom pole disassemble/fold up?)
