RX10 ii Faster Zoom?

I've watched some clips on YouTube of the Sony RX10 ii and it looks like it's got a much faster zoom than the mark 1 when video recording. Can anyone confirm this?

Mercalli works wonders with the right setting, I advice adding a very light sharpen filter with it and crop the borders off. It particularly works well with progressive scan footage.
