Re: BMPCC promotion must be working

Re: footage from the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera

Aside from anything else mentioned in this thread its the 10 (or even 12) bit codec that is most appealing for me with this camera. I've recently hit on some situations where I'm getting some rather...

Re: footage from the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera

Yes, and its fairly harsh, overhead sunlight. You should be able to get some really nice shots with this camera when the sun is a little lower in the sky.

Re: M4/3 lenses for BMPCC

I'm going to wait until an EF to micro 4/3 speed booster actually exists before buying the BMPCC but that hasn't stopped me thinking about lens permutations. With the speed booster the Tokina 11-16...

Re: The Hobbit shooting in 48p on RED cameras

The question of whether 24fps for narrative is something that looks right to many of us because of convention or because of inherent qualities of the frame rate is a classic nature vs nurture type of...

Re: New GoPro CineForm product line is out today.

I recently purchased Neo, do I need to do anything to get the free upgrade or is it just a case of uninstalling and installing GoPro Cineform Studio Premium?

Saving a LUT from Premiere Pro CS5.5 for use in First Light

I would like to use colorista II in PP CS5.5 or AE CS5.5 to create a LUT that I could then load into First Light for CC. I'm aware of the fact that certain features in colorista II won't work in a...
