What kind of "line" level was the output on the 442. Their outputs are adjustable if I remember right.

Even in Commercials, we didn't do more than 12-15 in a day, and I mean relatively small setup changes. Definitely no more than two full on location moves, and that was with crew setting up...

For what you are using it for, a Canon T2i might be a good option. Just keep in mind it;s form factor and lack of pro video controls and 12 min shot limit.

$1000 - $1500 for the camera? Not a huge amount of options for a new cam that does 60p. Maybe the hmc40. Though at 720 60p.
