What about a Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP?
I looked at Samsung's as well but in the end went for this Dell. I'm VERY happy with it :=)

yes, I had that as plan B as they are $350 at B&H...a good price for us Brits....but, I know from experience that by the time I've paid shipping and UK import taxes it gets quite a bit more...

They exist, eg AT825 (now alas just discontinued) or the more expensive Sennheiser MKE44P - also fairly hard to find (from my experience!) "Best" way to mount these on a camera would be with a Rode...
