how many fw drives?
I googled around and can't find anything obvious.
sometimes when I plug a FireWire drive into my macpro, another fw drive disappear? I have as many as 6 external drives which include both usb & fw...

the easiest route is to export out of fcp as a...
the easiest route is to export out of fcp as a QuickTime... then open that .mov in QuickTime pro... and export as appletv preset. 1080 24p will end up as a 1280x720 24p m4v, 1080i or 30p will end up...

I basically did the wide shot 1st.... and never...
I basically did the wide shot 1st.... and never altered the camera settings ( other than focus and zoom ) for the other 5 takes. 1080 24p HQ, 3200wb, -3 gain, f4-ish, 180 degree shutter, no PP's.

I find my best workflow is to rely on the...
I find my best workflow is to rely on the in-camera histogram and use the widest dynamic range and -3 gain... along with the correct color balance for the situation. Then I'm left with "raw" footage...
