the new 2.0.4 firmware is out. No problems with the C modes for me although I do not use them. Still trying to figure out the best manual audio level setting for the MKE400 mic input.

David, do we need an update with the new 5D2 firmware? I see a claim that it would work as per the 7D. Keeping my fingers crossed. No time to try it yet.

Just managed to do one nite shot with the same...

Just managed to do one nite shot with the same setup. Works very well. It can even go with the CPL.

A 10kg head is required. I did it with a 75mm 6kg vinten head and found it hard to lock the crane from panning. The spread also tends to spread so I had to use a dolly.

I tried lighting the interior but Istill can't see thru. Is the 30deg thing a must for all CPL to work? The car has quite a sloppy windscreen. I think I m shooting at 50deg at best

What is a good CPL? I have the HOYA CPL but it doesnt seem to work well... I need to shoot thru a car windscreen under daylight conditions. The interior is darker than outside. Do I need to light up...
