Need some help with slow motion and FX1

I've got a shoot on Wed. of some golf footage. It's for a commercial and the storyboard isn't 100% sketched out yet but our golfer is only going to be in town this week so we've got to shoot right...

I didn't spend a buttload of cash on a first generation HDV camera to not spend more on an HDV editor the second it's available. :D

Also check your levels and make sure you've actually got an audio signal.

The reason I do it is because you can't shoot HDV in 4:3. Given the option I'd rather have my footage in HDV than DV, even if I'm going to be delivering in 4:3 SD at first.

I don't see why you'd ever want to output in letterbox for editing.

You can always make your anamorphic 16:9 into a letterboxed 4:3 later.

Until then we're just speculating and going by 'reports we've heard'.

To me the fact that they're willing to accept HDV footage at all tells me that it's good enough.
