Re: T2i vs. T3i vs. 60D

I do a decent amount of still shooting so for me the 60D was worth the extra money for things such as the remote flash feature and better AF. I didn't know the 7D had a dedicated WB button, I'm sure...

Re: Would you buy a MiniDV camera now?

Up until the GoPro Heros came out I probably would have bought one really cheap one to mount on car exteriors, but with the advent of those little buggers I see virtually no reason for myself to ever...

Re: DV-info members average age?

25 years of age here.

Grew up in an AV predominant family so I've been around this for quite some time. Went to school for video production, but it was just community college so I didn't gather a...

Mic Survey Question.

Just took the mic survey, but it didn't ask for any of my personal info. Does it auto generate my info based off the cookies of me being logged into DVInfo when I clicked the link? Sorry this is...

Re: How to Fix a busted Letus Hawk

Nice fix. As a gearhead, Epoxy and I go waaay back haha.

Anyhow, it's a damn shame such a gorgeous(and pricey) piece of kit ended up being a flop. I think with modern manufacturing techniques...

Re: 60D audio input question

Oh, that makes more sense now. I haven't had any experience with Sony wireless units, so I'm not sure, but yeah I'd venture a guess that the monitor out on it would be sending out more juice than...

Re: 60D audio input question

Wait, so you plugged the Sony mic cable into the jack on the side of the camera that is supposed to have your standard composite breakout cable for a television output plugged into it?

Wow. ...

Re: Need advice for Club shoot

Cool, yeah I've got experience with setting these style lighting systems up on a corporate level and they are all over the spectrum of light sources and what not. I've generally been happier running...

Re: Need advice for Club shoot

Jon, does this mean because it matches up with the cycle of most conventional lighting fixtures?

Most of these venues/stages are all lit by either LEDs now or arc-type lamp powered units or are...

Re: T2i vs. T3i vs. 60D

I've got to say that I am super glad that I went with the 60D for a couple reasons. For starters shooting video the articulating screen just allows me to get shots my friend sooting with a T2i has...

Re: IndiSlider Mini Test and the T2i

Scott, I've actually found with my HMC40 that leaving the OIS on while sliding does actually produce better results. When I hit a "spot" on the Pocket Dolly that slows the slide down the OIS floats...

Re: 60D / T3i External Monitor & LCD

I think it's more a limitation of the camera's processor, more so than them just leaving the feature out.

So if someone could confirm for me here I'd appreciate it. With CS5 having any CUDA enabled card with the little supported card list "hack" would be better than an old 8800GTS?

If this card would...

First half is solid, second half definitely isn't my best. Incubus was a tough music choice to cut to.
