Re: how much gear is too much?

Great topic here.

Yeah, I've wondered the same thing myself. I shoot with an assistant, 2 DSLR's and 3 HMC150's. We do sliders, glydcams, monopods, tripods, etc. It's a ton of stuff. We finally...

Re: LaPointe Productions - New Highlight/Story Reel

Beautiful. You nailed it. This really looks fantastic. The only shot I didn't care for was the one where they were zipping up the dress and you see the bra strap. Looked kinda awkward. But that's...

Re: Sarah & Ben's wedding highlights (& my new toys)

Good job overall. I felt some of the prep shots were a little dark. Generally I like my films to have a "lighter" feel. Good movement. I was really impressed with that.

Re: Sigma 20mm 1.8

I shoot with this lens on a glydecam all the time. The focus can be soft, but at least it's bright enough to see.

Re: "The Music Bed" - licensing website for music

Looks great, they just don't have a lot of really really well-known stuff on there. At least the little bit I saw.

Re: Anyone familiar with videographies.com

Smells fishy. I'd stay away. I've never paid for listings. I've done google adwords and have though about theknot.com but I probably wouldn't do much of anything else. Honestly. I think google...

Re: How many Monopod users?

I LOVE my Bogen/Manfrotto Monopod. One of the best purchases I ever made. I can't imagine shooting without it.

Comer 1800 Light

I ordered one and it just came in today. WOW! I think I'm going to LOVE this light! Question for those who have this light: do you typically use the it with the filter on or off?

Incredible. I love the opening/closing shot. This is way different than a normal wedding video. I love the song and the editing you did with it. This was amazing.

Great job! Beautiful colors! Any couple would be elated with something like this!

A couple shots felt a touch soft, but maybe it was just me. Also, a few shots felt a little long. I'd do quicker...

Re: Frances + Amado | Wedding Highlights

Beautiful! I love the opening and then how you tied the stereo back in at the end. I like the filters too. It gives everything a distinct look.

What were the rings spinning on?
