it looks like a nice solution, I have not used any wooden camera gear. But one thing that have really been good with a cage...

Today I got the 120-300 and a sigma x2 extender and yes, that is a heavy beast!!!
But the OS (IS) is working wonderful!

Do you just offload from the card and ”never” format the card? That may be small parts of old files on the card that causing problem if you don’t format the card.

Get a variable ND filter with 82mm size and then use step rings. That size will fit most lenses you will be using.
Zoom is out with a new recorder, I think it's called H6 and you can mount...

Thanks, together with another filmmaker we'll release a 40 minutes documentary film in the end of this summer. The Swedish version will hopefully be broadcast in Sweden during this summer...
