Re: Do clients prefer C300 over Sony F3?
I"m not doing any shoots with these kind of camera's but I"m curious, if it is not a production house that has to deal with the actual footage, how much do your clients actually know about the...

Re: Next Best thing to the CX730?
The only thing I always do manually is the exposure with the small dial and I do use spot focus during a ceremony when I zoom in a bit just to make sure it doesn't start hunting but often the focus...

Do you have the cx730 and is the low light performance not as you expected or are you planning to get one second hand and need to know how it performs?

Re: Next Best thing to the CX730?
I don't consider slashcam as a reference, I didn't trust them anymore when I saw a side by side image at 12 lux of the canon xh-a1 and xh-a1s, the older model had a much cleaner image, so I wouldn't...

Re: DSLR vs "Traditional" Video Camera
That might be a good camera for your purposes as well as it sits between a real videocamera and a dslr in terms of functionality, you also might consider the sony rx10 if you don't mind it's slower...

I don't think Brock requires a manual focusing system, he just wants to add some occasional shot to his productions and then it's easy just to set focus once and stay within that focus range of the...
