Right now I use 2 50W lights on light stands. They work off of a remote and are very similar...

Re: When a church is just too dark?

Yep buy a noise reducer fileter... 100% worth the money. I use neat video with FCP and it works perfect. I shoot with Canon T2i who produce a pretty noisy picture anything above 800 iso. I've had...

Re: Amateur Wedding Video - Advice Needed

Brad...

The best advice is to use what you have... Meaning if you don't have decent audio, don't use it!

keep your highlight short. It doesn't have to be long to get the story across. I...

Re: Local TV station just did an exposé on a wedding videog...

I'de have to say that I'm a little surprised with all animosity towards videogs that deliver months later.
I always quote all of my clients 6 months and usually deliver within 3 to 4. I've yet to...

Re: Down the Aisle with DSLR?

Michael...

Try using some sort of follow focus rig. Usually I have to shoot in dark churches so my lens's are wide open.
This is my workflow for anyone coming down the isle or reception...

Re: wedding

Well like I said I've been trying to duplicate the shot where I sank the rings. I tried this again but I couldn't get the lighting the way I wanted it (the light kept traveling all the way to bottom...

Hey Don... Thanks for checking it out.... Actually that was the backup ring shot and it took me 3 or 4 times to get a spin that I was happy with. I once sunk the rings that were floating on a leaf...

Re: Outdoor KY wedding

Jeremy,

What a beautiful wedding. You had some really nice shots in there. The prep shots of the ceremony were a nice touch. I loved the individual dancing scenes with the bridal party,...

Re: Shot on PENTAX (Believe it or not) - Caleb & Abbie

I actually really liked this. Your video had lots of energy from start to finish... sure some of the shots could have been focused better and a little bit less shaky, but you'll get the hang of it. ...

Re: What to do when a T2i overheats.

Hey guys...

I shot a wedding yesterday. As expected it was a hot one. I was dying my self from the heat... The AC didn't work at the brides house or in the old church. Both of my T2i's did a...

Just a simple short video, nothing flashy... This is usually what I end up doing when the B&G really don't have any ideas as to what they want in a video. We did a lot of walking around that day,...

Re: What to do when a T2i overheats.

Thanks guys for the replies... Upgrading to the T3i isn't much of an option. I've yet to have my t2i's overheat. I'm not sure if I've been lucky or if it's because I shoot with my LCD brightness...

Re: 2nd Camera placement
