Re: Oregon Scientific ATC9K
Simply put…the footage was crap. Ridiculous rolling shutter artifacts, terrible compression, and just a general washed-out quality. Totally useless.

Re: First out of state shoot
In Austin, you've got plenty of resources. You can rent whatever you need from Omega Broadcast, GEAR and Texas Media Systems. I'd rent your lights and sticks to make travel easier.

Re: Silliest accessory?
I bought one of the 70-200mm mugs as a gift for a shooter friend of mine. I met him for lunch and as I walked towards him in the parking lot, I said "hey, here's that new lens you wanted to check...

Re: Versatile Variable Frame Rate Comera
The XH-A1 is a solid performer, and as a 1/3" chip camera, it's a different beast than the AF-100. I'd highly recommend renting an AF-100 or trying to get some hands-on time before you buy. But if...

Re: Versatile Variable Frame Rate Comera
Well, it's not a "4:3" sensor… It's actually what's called a "Micro Four Thirds" sensor, and that's simply the type/size of the sensor. We shot this with two pre-production AF-100 cameras…
