I own the coollights flos and an speak to their build quality. It's not a kino, but it's a fraction of the cost and way better than most low cost junk out there. No perceptible green spike either.

Video Guys, one of the forum sponsors has an excellent build guide. If apple discontinues the MacPro Line, I may switch to PC for my workstation using their recommended configurations.

I don't know the names that Intel randomly assigns to processors.
I made the switch smoothly a month ago on a non qualified machine, and haven't looked back.

My workstation is a Mac Pro early...

All of this info is readily available by searching here and consulting the manual.

One way to go online, re-log/transfer the clips that you used. Then use the reconnect media option on each clip...
