The flight path is discussed prior. I fly the heli in that path, the camera operator views a live image and has 360 degree pan and 180 tilt on the camera gimbal to assist in framing.

Bow Hunting Ad-photos of shoot
Today went well. Shot test runs yesterday, and did a bunch of scouting. Today the weather was perfect. 25 degrees, no wind, lots of sun, and a good crew.
One near miss....my spotter was yelling...

This day the winds were non-existent, so smooth flying wasn't incredibly difficult.
Yes, I sometimes do utilize a post stabilizer. But I try to avoid it by flying as smooth as possible....

I can climb at a rate of about 36-42 feet per...
I can climb at a rate of about 36-42 feet per minute with all the equipment on my back. We usually average 50 fpm when normally skiing.
It flys with PLENTY of power at 11,000ft on a cool day.

Remote control.
You can't fly a full size anything down a 30ft wide creek bed. Nor can you get a permit to do so.
Full size has it's place, but the price, legality, and noise factor is too...
