The message that didn't come out was the real estate part. The video seemed to celebrate the model more...

Re: FD to EF Adapter
They are quite good. I don't need to adapt mine since I'm using them with compatible mounts.

Re: Colour Meters
Ah.. :)
Nope, gave up on those years ago. I use the tools built into the camera or into my field monitor.
That is one more thing to not agree with how your camera sees the frame.

Re: FD to EF Adapter
One consideration is being able to get a nice 50mm f/1.2l FD lens for about 1/3rd the cost of a similar EF lens. Even counting the cost of modification you come out ahead.

Re: BMPCC 3D LUT appear overexposed
The thing to do is to buy a grey card and do some exposure tests. That will allow you to know exactly what you should expose to for the best results with your LUT of choice.
As an example when I...

Re: BMPCC 3D LUT appear overexposed
I just checked out some examples on their website and they are setting skin tones between 40% and 60%.

Re: BMPCC 3D LUT appear overexposed
Can you post some images that show where you are exposing things?
Do you have a grey card? That is an essential tool to shooting LOG or RAW.
