For many years 80% of my...

Re: Talk about Luck!

Some people make their own good luck. The simple things I teach my boys all seem so true, like, what goes around comes around.

Good for you Chris!

Hey Pete,

Good luck with the Metabones. You will love it. I have the Canon 16-35L 2.8 and I love it.

Re: EA50 - B camera ideas

Erik, +1 very well said.

Craig, if you have them, like them, and they work for you, then more power to you. I don’t think you’re going to find much of a case for convincing a lot of people here...

Good luck, I hope they help you. I have learned the hard way, more than once.

Many years ago as a still photog I bought some cheap light stands from a discount place, Amvona. Light stands, all...

Re: 25p to DVD, that clunky power zoom and slow motion

I talked to a Sony Services Plus Technician (US Pro Support) last week. There is no firmware updates and no way for the user to reload the factory settings except the reset button. Your problem...

Re: support suggestions for mic

I think guys might be talking about two different things here? In the Guitar Center world a “boom mike stand” is going to be a regular stage mic stand with a “boom arm” on it. Commonly used to mic...

Re: NEX-EA50 equal to Canon 5D???

Danny,

You have to recognize the EA-50 for what it is. I consider it a $3,500.00 general utility camera. It is feature rich and does many things very well. That also means it is not exceptional...

I was just checking out their site. Impressive site, but they obviously sell the cheapest stuff they can find. We all like to save money, but there are some areas I won’t even think about...

Re: Recommend a EA50 camera bag

Hey Dave,

I looked that case up. Here in the states at B&H that model but it comes with built in wheels only. That puts the 20 cm limit you are trying to stay under at 26.5 cm. The removable...

Re: Adapter for Canon EOS EF Lenses

Peter,

I recommend the Metabones. They are on the second generation adapter. They are very finely machined. I would not want to damage my camera body with something that has poor tolerances. I...

Here is the latest update on my Metabones situation. Unfortunately for me the problem seems to be my EA50 camera body. I will be returning it to Sony for a factory repair as I have...

Re: EA50 - B camera ideas

Get the VG20 or 30. A good sensor march like that is hard to find. And the new VG30s come with the same lens as the EA50 so your golden.
