It is probably not remotely close to 35mm when projected but the smaller the screen, the less the resolution matters. I think most people in the prosumer world are fairly ignorant of the 2/3" CCD...

Why do people bash the XL lenses... they are GREAT glass for a 1/3"CCD camera. I know the servo can frustrate some but with practice I have no issues at all with it and I use the lenses in full...
