Re: Live webcast switching

Gentlemen, the word wedding implies so much here. If you are going in as stated above that is fine if the wedding is for your niece and you are doing her a favor. If you are representing yourself...

Re: MetaBones Adapter Report / Not Good

Mr. Bo-Ming Tong,

More testing. Sir, since I re-seated the contacts this is what is happening. The camera appears to work in green mode some of the time. When I remove the lend and hold down...

Re: MetaBones Adapter Report / Not Good

Mr. Bo-Ming Tong,

I tried your suggestion. Of course loosening the three screws does not do anything as they anchor a circular piece. Once removed the circular tube in the middle came out as did...

Re: Live webcast switching

I have been webcasting corporate gigs for about 8 years. All in SD so far. If someone is researching webcasting sooner or later they will come across the Sony ANYCAST. I was a very early purchaser...

Re: Ideas after my 3rd Wedding

Chris,
You are right on with the touch focus set up. I found face detection to be almost useless so I dumped it from the buttons. Touch focus is awesome.

On my "wish list" for this camera would...

Re: Premiere Pro CS5.5 workflow

Kudos to Jeff for explaining "i" & "p" in three short paragraphs! That would have taken someone wordy like me three pages.

Can you do the same thing for him with frame rate and shutter speed :)...

Re: MetaBones Adapter Report / Not Good

Mr. Bo-Ming Tong,

Thank you for the response. I will gladly try to adjust the electrical contacts. This is exactly the kind of information I was looking for when I made my first inquiry. I have...

Re: Dirt on sensor

I have worked in some incredibly dirty environments that are brutal on gear. In NASCAR racing there is dust and dirt you can't see but you can feel it hitting you in the face. If you know your...

Re: Expanded focus assist is fuzzy???

Your fine Chris. I find the 4X to be more useful than 8x for exactly that reason. 8x is just to much magnification.

I have not reset the options in the menu yet by I may do it. I focus in 4x...

Re: Interview shot with NEX EA50

Lee,

Good job of the "old one camera switch". I did think it was two locations because of the audio differences and the lack of any shot with both subjects.

And good for you for posting it. ...

Re: Interview shot with NEX EA50

Good job Lee. Your goal was was obviously to make it so the "average viewer" would not know the kid was not there and you did that. Us video guys would know because we have been there done that. ...

Ron,

I understand what you said. My question is why does...

PS & FX Saved to external media only???

Hi Guys,

In an attempt to understand EVERYTHING I can about a new camera I am one of those freaks that reads manuals. Great night stand stuff, sometimes takes weeks because I fall asleep.

Re: Video of VL312 on camera light

I think your overly concerned about a fictitious 5400 and green spikes. If you don't have it you can't shoot with it. My stuff looks just fine. I have not turned anybody into a Martian yet :) :) :)

Re: Video of VL312 on camera light

John,

The 312 head might be the same from different suppliers but it sounds like the accessory's do vary. The light in the video I got from LA Color came with a single battery charger. It is...

Re: MetaBones Adapter Report / Not Good

I still have the adapter. I did not send it back because I am requesting an exchange. It is useless though. It has a mind of its own. I put it on and it might work for a few minutes or more or...

Re: ? Best audio/pa system for breakout class session ?

Ken,

First, it sounds to me like the lav and the HH may have been on the same frequency. Did you check both of the receivers to confirm separation. The drop outs also could have been caused by a...

Re: Video of VL312 on camera light

Jase,

You will like the 312. It is a good light. Especially for the cost. I want a couple more of them.

Re: Got My Three EA50's!

That all makes sense to me Ron.

Noa, how do you see anything with zebras set to 100? I can understand you taking a look at it that way in rehearsals but not shooting that way? I often run zebras...

Re: Glass house

Noa,

Be careful, I found the highlight areas on shiny objects are prone to aliasing and moire.

Also, do you have clear or UV filters to protect you lenses?
