I'm throwing this out for the sake of argument, but aren't we supposed to look our best on shoots, I feel that rubber shoes/clogs, or any other kind apart from formal leather shoes is inappropriate...

Doesn't the sde render the highlights obsolete?
With this level or quality and done with such a crew, it almost seems like it steps out of the realm of an SDE and just becomes a highlights clip similar to what you might deliver after the wedding....
