Dropping frames is likely because your exposure wasn't locked. Read up on this. There are a ton of posts on the subject.

And the Kingston 133x card does have issues, but it's with interrupting...

I used my older 40GB Hyperdrive the other day with a couple cards containing video and still files (mixed) from my 5D Mark II and the Hyperdrive handled all the files (videos and stills) just fine.
