Re: Dim Weddings

I've been in the wedding business for 19 years and I haven't used lights at the church in the past 18 of them.

Re: First Wedding shot on DSLR last July... Anne & Cameron

Re: First Wedding shot on DSLR last July... Anne & Cameron

Nice job. Just don't let brides tell you what songs to use. Make 2 versions of the video. One with her song for her own personal video and the other with a song you feel best portrays your work. I...

Re: How you do this?

The bride and groom will understand. They are probably a little mad that their 4 hour party turned into a 3 hour party because of the long toasts.

Re: All DSLR wedding..

Art, for a few more bucks, go with the 60D. The viewfinder alone is worth it. I have the 7D, 60D and T2i and the 60D is my main camera just because of the viewfinder.

Re: Focusing with HDSLR. Do i really need LCDVF or external monitor for sunny day?

I agree. I only use my Z-Finder outside on a sunny day.

Re: Momentarily Stopped Recording

I have Class 6 and 10. I do see the buffer warning bar on the side of the viewfinder. It's rare that I get this message but always seems to happen at the worst time of course.

Canon 60D Canon 7D Sandisc and Transcend (both a few months old). Batteries are a year old but the problem doesn't happen that often.

Re: All DSLR wedding..

Stephen. Nice job. I went to a StillMotion seminar and they mentioned try to "avoid mixed lighting". I now have the makeup girls use natural light. I've even been known to turn off all the yellow...
