I can suggest a Deflicker option which is normaly used for timelapse type footage where the exposure can vary frame to frame but it may work on constant flashes going off, I haven't tried this before...

I capture to Avid which captures to MXF long GOP format and then once editing is done then out to HDV or any other format.
