Re: Shooting and Delivery Formats

Tim, that will be our workflow too, as we edit with FCP. I have read that creating HD and SD discs from the same project in Encore is seamless...I hope the learning curve for Encore is not too...

Since then, we've switched to Taiyo Yuden (spelling?) DVDs, definitely...

Re: Do NOT repeat this mistake!:)

I must admit, we are shooting with this monopod this season for the first time, and I do have to keep myself in check and not walk away. Although this past weekend, having just watched your video, I...

Re: Pre-Ceremony Coverage

I agree with Art...we get some of our best footage from the photographer's photo shoot. It's the moments between pictures that often yield the most "oh I don't even remember that" comments...like...

Re: Anyone producing live wedding streaming?

I haven't considered doing this, but it seems like if you were just going to use Skype, why would they pay you to do it when someone that will be there could just bring their laptop?

(I get that...

Re: LED Light

We have a light similar to that Ebay light as well. I was just wondering about lights this weekend, as we were in a very dark reception venue, and the DJ didn't have much for lights set up. We used...

Re: Share your favourite accessory

Coming a little late to this topic, but over the past couple of weeks I cannot tell you how often velcro has come in handy...the kind with the sticky back...I stick the two sides together so that I...

Re: Ceremony videos: do you keep the church's music or dub in your own?

Chris, thanks for your feedback...I am realizing more after this discussion that I am really interested in the artistic/creative aspect of it. That's not to say I don't like money, who doesn't? but...

We usually do two versions of the ceremony: the full length version, which is an option to watch...sort of an extra feature...and...

Re: Shooting Only - Clients Edit

Well that may be fine for a lot of projects...but that would mean they are probably paying someone else to edit, and have some sort of budget involved...would you say you do this regularly for...

Re: Shooting Only - Clients Edit

The concern of giving up copyright is very simple: In the contract or not, if they have all the footage, they can basically do what they want with it, I will never know if they posted things on a...

Re: Audio Setup - Opinions and/or Advice Please!
