pulsating red colors
i just watched some dailys of my footage and in certain shots, the reds pulsate of and on...whats going on? and can i fix this in post?

Compression Question
im not sure what to do but i want to export to the highest quality possible...do i go with uncompressed or microsoft dv, i put them side by side and i really cant tell the difference except...

Repeating frames?
I'm noticing that some of my footage has repeated frames, what's causing this? is this normal? its causing really jerky movement.

Rode Videomic Question
Can I use this for the XL2? I hear it doesnt have XLR. Will I have to use the miniplugs? If so, which one? Will I need to buy an adapter or can I just plug and play it straight out of the box?

Question about Sennheiser ME66
BH has this microphone for 179 and 409 w/ with something called K6 (i think). I do I need this "K6", I want to use it as a boom microphone for my XL2.

my 24p doesnt look right
24p is supposed to look like film right? well i shot some 24p footage today and i dont know about you but this doesnt look like 24p to me... it looks like its doubling frames or something...any...

power dial light on permanently?
is there anyway to keep the light on the powerlight on permanently? i hate having to press the button everytime i wanna see something.

brown tinting on my power dial
i just noticed a brownish tint on my powerdial screen is this normal? i havent noticed it before. you can only see from certain angles but it doesnt seem right.

Using a Shuru SM58 for boom microphone
My friend is using a shure sm58 on a boom to record dialog on his short films and he said it works suprisingly well. has anyone else tried this microphone?
