Re: Rx10 ii lens wobble while zoom and does noise

If you want controlled zooms you are better of with a real videocamera, I"d be happy with that wobbly zoom but not at it's current price which is double of what a rx10 mark 1 costs. I only zoom to...

Re: Rx10 ii lens wobble while zoom and does noise

As a rx10 mark1 owner I also would say this is normal, you can test it by zooming out completely and than take the front end of the lens and wiggle a bit with it, you will notice it's not solid and...

Re: VLOG for GH4 available BUT...

Sony is charging 500 dollar for a 4K firmware upgrade, something that is standard on it's cheaper consumerbrother, the ax100. This is basically also just a piece of code that unlocks extra...

Re: The GH4r - V'Log & Europe's answer to the recording limit problem.

I believe with the gh4r Panasonic is the first one selling a dslr in Europe without recording limit, I can assume the GH5 will have no recording limit either, this gives them a unique advantage to...

Re: Decent Video Camera Recommendations?

Where did that model come from? Never heard of the nx100 and have to say it looks a very interesting camera at only 1700 dollar? Specification wise this camera ticks a lot of boxes.

Re: The GH4r - V'Log & Europe's answer to the recording limit problem.

Panasonic will be making more money by selling a updated camera version, I think most camera manufacturers do that instead of providing firmware updates to existing camera's. They do listen to...

Re: The GH4r - V'Log & Europe's answer to the recording limit problem.

Really to bad they did not made the removal of the recording limit available through a paid firmware upgrade for existing GH4 owners, I gladly would have paid for that. V-log is something I don't...

Re: Beholder, 3 axis gimbal

Yes, they are all slowed down 50% apart from one shot at 00:57, I wish the gh4 could do 50fps at 2.7k like my gopro 4 can as that would make it possible to correct framing errors.

I"m not sure but...

Re: Beholder, 3 axis gimbal

I know a videographer that got the blackbird steadicam because of my steadicam footage he saw and had to sell it again because he was not able to get anything smooth out of it and now he is using a 3...

Re: Beholder, 3 axis gimbal

I just stay in the background, don't talk much and watch for anything special to happen, I shoot a lot handheld as well with stabilized lenses because it gives me more freedom to move around instead...

OK, did some more serious shooting today :) See first post where I have replaced the earlier video.

Re: 25,000$ vs 2,500$ Video - lets get a critique going so I can improve

I don't think it's hate, I was confused by believing it was the maker of that video that had belittled James and later on in this thread James said it was someone else that just used pacific pictures...

Re: 25,000$ vs 2,500$ Video - lets get a critique going so I can improve

I"m not looking down on those kind of weddings, I actually would like to shoot such a wedding, I only don't understand why a couple wants to fake an entire wedding video that has no real emotion at...

Beholder, 3 axis gimbal

Daddy has got a new toy :) I got myself a beholder 3 axis gimbal for 500 dollar, it's the cheapest and smallest I could find for my personal use and for the few weddings I still have left to do. I...

Re: 25,000$ vs 2,500$ Video - lets get a critique going so I can improve

To come back to James question how to become better, I personally find American weddings much easier to shoot then Begian one, had to do one several weeks back and the ceremony part was so easy with...

Re: Saved by the Rod!

Re: 25,000$ vs 2,500$ Video - lets get a critique going so I can improve

If "elopement destination" means having your wedding video completely scripted and acting the entire time when someone calls "action!" then I wouldn't call this a weddingvideo anymore. Everything in...

Re: Sony rx10 goes out of focus

I might have narrowed the camera problem down to the battery, used the camera on a shoot yesterday and it was a hot day, quite quickly the camera became slow in response and gradually got worse, then...

Re: Saved by the Rod!

Hi Tom! I see you are still using the ea50, just a quick question, the way you hold teh steadicam with your left hand on the photo's, is that the way you hold it while you are flying?
