Hi again,
Just a quick question. When you plug in an external mic into the FX1, does it cut off the onboard stereo mic, or do both mics work at the same time?

Yup, the internal mikes get cut off when you plug anything into the external mike socket, and you can't use internal on one channel and external on the other.
