mic att on dsr-250

my wireless mic - samson micro 32 - just seems way too hot. Ony my pd150, there is a mic att setting that makes it work just fine. I do not see any mic att switch on the dsr-250 though.

In manual gain of course, I can get the level down just fine but there are lots of times I like to just use the auto setting. As I mentioned, the mic att setting on the pd150 takes care of this just fine. Can anyone suggest how to handel this on the 250?

Thanks...Phil

You can purchase a variable attenuator from Shure that will do what you want. It hooks in series with the signal going into the camera. Expect to pay around $50 for the unit.
