GL2 doesn't mount on the GC 2000, any thoughts?

Although it does mount, it still moves. Has anyone had this problem? I bought it used and although my first shot out I got some smooth shots, I know that it's not mounted correctly. It's supposed to lay flat on the small sled on the top but I cannot screw it all the way down. Maybe I need washers or a different screw. Any suggestions?

Bob,
I assume that "GC 2000" refers to the Glidecam 2000.

It sounds as if you did not get the full set of tripod hole mounting screws with this used unit. There are several supplied, some longer than others. Rather than try using a washer I would contact Glidecam to get the complete screw set. The camera's bas should be flush with the mounting plate.

bob, a washer will do the trick, and should be there...not under the camera...but inbetween the bolt and the head plate...

Actually I did use 2 washers and it worked perfectly. Now it's just a matter of practice.
