Weird bug in Protype? at DVinfo.net

Hi! I am new to this forum. I found this place when I was looking for a website where I can read up other Vegas user's experiences. A casual peruse of the discussion here seems to indicate this is a high quality forum and I also noticed there are several BIG names in this forum. This forum must be doing something right.

Anyway, I am currently trying out my first project on Vegas 8 and this is my first time ever using the Protype Titler. It is indeed much more capable than the old titler I was using in Vegas 5 (the Boris version).

I am having this strange bug in my project now. I have short texts flying in on the left and right edge of the screen. The short strips of text are set on a solid background inside Protype. They slide in from outside the edge and stop stationary for a while allowing you to read it quickly before sliding out again. The strange thing is that the text sliding in from the left will slide in with no background. The background only appears after the text has stopped stationary and then disappear again while sliding out. The texts sliding in from the right edge slides in perfectly with their background attached.

Has anyone come across this problem? Is there a workaround for this? Thanks in advance!
