I've searched and only found the attached chart in the manual. Still, I don't see anything clearly defining the crop factors and frame rates. If a C300mkII owner could confirm that would be awesome....

Am I right to say that you can shoot any resolution up to a frame rate of 60p on the full sensor?

I'm looking for a spreadsheet/matrix that shows all the different combinations of frame rates, resolutions and bit rates. Found what I needed on page 63...

I've looked at the specs over and over and it's still a mess. Looking at the B&H specs page is confusing as there's a thousand rates, bitrates, sizes. Does anyone know of a good resource for C300...

You add sharpening in post? I thought that was something only done on 5Dmk3 footage.

If I shot a bunch of footage in Canon Log, does it mean I must use a LUT when color correcting? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought LUT's were just guides that get you 90% there, you can color...

Thanks Luke, I'm pretty sure we were using the Zeiss CP.2 23mm on that shot. You can check out the whole rig by going to the website and looking at image "36 of 50".

Neoscene converting wrong framerates!!! Help!

For some reason or another Neoscene is converting my 5DmkII files and XH-A1 HDV files weird.
For example:
Clip1.mov shows up as 23.976 in CS5, once converted by Neoscene it shows up as 23.98....

Neoscene build 140 and Premiere CS5

I just upgraded to CS5 and I'm wondering if I'm going to have any issues with using files converted with Neoscene (v1.6.0 build 140)? Does CS5 require the new version of Neoscene or am I good to go?

I ended up buying the AT897. Super happy, no problems. Either the AT897 or the NTG-2 would have been a great choice. The NTG-3 I hear is superub.

If I'm correct I think the NTG-1 is phantom...
