25 years ago minus one week I too shot your kit festival -- using Super 8 sound.

Do they still put ground glass on the kite strings and try to cut the other kites free? This looks very different.

And, the tall apartment buildings! I'll see if I can find these videos. I think I transfered them to DVD at some point.

Time has changed, and you shoot it long time ago, 25 years! Well, the video I have uploaded is International Kite Competition, so people come to take part from different country Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Shri Lanka, Pakistan and others! And they shows some innovative Kites, some of were very attractive and some are strange too! And this competition organized every year on 12th January in Ahmedabad (India).

And we have one very much passionate festival on 14th January, its huge festival; I know you are aware about it! I am sure you must have some memories in your mind, the people goes early morning on their tares and fly kites and enjoy to cut others, but I am sure we never put anything on kites or anything on thin string! People fly kites two day continues 14th and 15th January.

I would really like to see your vintage recording, if you find it please upload here; you told you have saved it on DVD!

And yes, Ahmedabad has changed so much, it has been declared as a Mega City, so all changes are necessary, they are so many new Malls and building have been build and are in process.
