I want to help - and I have my own HD100U... ;)

Chris Luker February 20th, 2009 11:55 AM

I sent Paypal to him, but was refunded a week after. I just send a USPS money order to him.
I think he will come through.
If it is a scam, he's in for some Federal charges when a money order is involved...

You should have burnt that $200 it would have been more fun. I'm sorry to say I don't think you will ever see that crane.

If you have any extra money sitting around please send it my way.

The cost of HMI's never ceases to amaze me. What does one of those go for new?

Todd Kivimaki February 20th, 2009 03:58 PM

This is also on eBay:
8 Foot Pro Camera Crane Jib *NEW* Auto/Manual Tilting - eBay (item 280315335536 end time Feb-23-09 13:46:18 PST)

I sent paypal to a colony14.com email account, look at that users name....Funny colony14, weird though because he has good feedback and hasn't just joined all of these forums he posts on.

You would think if he was going to rip someone off he would have said he had more expensive gear for sale.

Curtis Edwards February 20th, 2009 04:06 PM

He was immeidate on his PM reply when I ask if it was still available??

Todd Kivimaki February 20th, 2009 04:14 PM

hmm, I will try to pm him, maybe mine order just was mixed up.

LETUS EXTREME used 3-4 hours

Letus Extreme used roughly 3 hours on a music video that unfortunately never got finished. The unit is in perfect shape (may as well be brand new) and worked beautifully on the shoot. It has never been dropped or even jostled roughly. It comes with the nikon AI adapter. I'm asking $900.00, about $338.00 under new. It will come shipped in the same styrofoam packaging it came with and will ship insured and well packed. E-mail me straight at robinsonroad@post.com. Thanks!

Curt Fargo February 20th, 2009 04:18 PM

Maybe he was in a car accident and can't get to his computer right now. Only time will tell.

Thanks for the help.

Shaun Roemich February 20th, 2009 06:14 PM

Wish I could have made you an offer Eric. My piggy bank is getting stuffed in anticipation of the new HM700. Good to see you were able to get rid of it though.

Jad Meouchy February 21st, 2009 12:14 AM

Brand new for everything, you would be just under 10k, yes. However, these things are made for the long haul and will last 15-20 years. You always get what you pay for!

Jordan Berry February 21st, 2009 12:43 AM

I'll take $2.8 including all the accessories and shipping.

Feel free to offer.

Nate Haustein February 21st, 2009 12:54 AM

Follow Focus with Whip

I am looking for a follow focus to fit my 15mm rails on my Red One camera. It would be used to adjust the zoom on my Canon lens while my Birger mount adjust the focus and Iris. It needs to have a whip or accept a whip.

portable LCD Monitor (<10")

Hey Guys -

I'm looking for a monitor for my DoF 35mm Adapter work - something that'll wind up on some rails I guess

If you have anything that costs less than a new Manhattan LCD (~$600) I'd be more than happy to talk

Cheers and thanks!

PS. The monitor will be used in relation to a good cause in a conflict zone in Palestine (If it matters)

JVC GY-HD250U Professional HDV Camcorder

JVC GY-HD250U Professional HDV Camcorder is in immaculate condition practically new only has 1 hour on the drum. There it absolutely nothing wrong with the camera, I repeat, NOTHING WRONG, It's pretty much brand spanking new. I have originally paid over $18,000 for it. The lens on this camera is not a stock lens that these cameras sold with. The lens is an upgrade (Fujinon TV Lens HTs18 x 4.2BRM-M48).

This camera is the ultimate version of JVC's ProHD camera, featuring HD-SDI, Timecode and Genlock connections. The initial version, the GY-HD100U was the first HDV camera to record true progressive images at 24 frames a second while maintaining a professional style ENG form factor. All previous features have been included in this model along with a wide array of extras that will increase overall usability.

One of the most notable improvements is the capability of recording 60 full progressive frames per second. Other features include a 14-bit A/D converter for increased picture quality, an enhanced DSP, an Anton Bauer Gold-Mount battery plate, enhanced cinema gammas for film-outs, and a built-in image flip function. Additionally, the camera can be converted into a studio camera by using the optional KA-HD250U studio adapter.

The GY-HD250U is a direct result of extensive research through user based feedback and is a testament to JVC's commitment to providing the most complete video cameras for professionals.

FEATURES
* Compact shoulder form factor
* Bayonet mount interchangeable lenses
* Native 1280x720 progressive CCD's (x3)

Varizoom controller

Ken do you still have the Varizoom controller?

David Delaney February 21st, 2009 02:13 PM

Are you getting rid of the rails because it doesn't work with much in the way of accessories?

Josh Brusin February 21st, 2009 03:13 PM

still have this... compatible with all the Canon XL-cameras: from XL1- to XL-H1

Tyge Floyd February 21st, 2009 04:21 PM

Colin Pritchett February 21st, 2009 04:51 PM

Just bought a Firestore FS-4 ProHD from Cuong and the deal went super smooth! Thanks!

Robert Lane February 21st, 2009 06:33 PM

Price lowered to $500

Need to clear out my closet of unused items so I've lowered the price to $500. Don't expect it to drop further; if it doesn't sell I'll just keep it.

Les Nagy February 21st, 2009 08:20 PM

The LANC is an off brand thing taken from a tripod that had it integrated into the handle. I would like to keep it part of the package. Thanks for your interest.

Tyler Wentzel February 21st, 2009 10:02 PM

I'll take it off your hands if you don't like it anymore!
