it seems a little high
I just picked up an EX1 for $4350 in perfect condition with 1289 hours on it, but it was all indoor use. B&H has demo units for $5800 and new units for $6099. I realize the pelican is included, but still it may be a bit much to sell it at this price.
My advice would be to put it on ebay for $1.00. You will get the best price that way as more people will bid it up. I have a z1u up there now. |

Could you let us know what exactly the mic is?
I don't know if there's more than one available on the market.
Thanks |
Hey Zach: Probably owe you at least a follow up response. I had been back and forth on this camera, and another route. I am looking for cinematic 35mm type results. I finally took a flyer on the Canon 5D II, knowing that to equip this camera to get similar results I was looking at the cost of the Canon....plus the camera cost. My main need is for narrative.
Your camera is a great camera, but it just got a little out of price range for the level of production we are currently at. |
Sold..
Sure...its the Canon DM-100 that works with the accessory shoe on the camera...unfortunately the camera has sold...thanks for you interest though...

Century Optics - VS-06WA-HDS ADAPTER for SONY Z1 $179
Century Precision Optics - VS-06WA-HDS ADAPTER. I am no longer shooting with Sony HVR-Z1u camera and do not need this lens. I have probably used it 3 or four times. This lens is in immaculate, mint condition just like when I purchased it from B&H. No scratches anywhere. Here is the link to B&H for this lens:

I bought one of his jibs and it shipped promptly and arrived as described.
The return address on the package was from 'Carla Edmondson" in Marietta, GA., and also that was the name on the paypal account I sent money to. The seller emailed me Feb 16 offering to sell a doorway dolly. In my contact with him, the email from: line has been "Clevision Motion Pictures" with an email address of bloodabductionsmovie (at) live.com A little googling turned up "CleAndrew Smith" and IncMedia as more names associated with this person/group. He has lengthy histories of posts that indicated he was legitimately involved in film making. I hope something unforseen has happened to him and not that he has gone bad. |
Ken, if the Varizoom controller is still available I will take it.
Thanks |

Hvr-mrc1
I very much like to buy a HVR-MRC1 but I don't have the money to buy a new one. Anybody who recently bought a HVR-Z7 or thelike, doesn't use the recorder and want to get rid of it for a nice price?

Arg! I needed one of these! I would have paid $1800 for it.
Day late, dollar short. Story of my life. Oh well. |

Steadicam Flyer
-I bought this December of '07 last year and shot with it for about 5 days.
-It is the version with the aluminum center post not the newer carbon fiber model. -The 7" widescreen monitor is composite only but very bright with good off axis viewing, much better than my Marshall. -I'm 5'11' 175lbs, the vest fits well and would probably be good for people in the 150-200 lb weight range. -The sled is for V-Mount batteries and includes an IDX EC-1 single charger and 2 IDX Endura 7S batteries. -The kit also includes the tripod, adjustment tool, monitor hood, and soft case. -I don't have the video, because it was VHS and I tossed it. Who has VHS anymore? -Everything is in like new condition except for the soft case which is a little dusty. -New I paid just over $8000. -I'm selling for $5500. |
Tyler,
I did have some minor split-screen in extremely low light situations when I first bought the camera. I then had the camera calibrated at the JVC Service Center and since then have only seen the faintest hint of split-screen twice, literally, and this was when I first powered up the camera. Both times were in very dimly lit reception halls and the split screen disappeared in less than 30 seconds once the CCDs warmed up. I also had the gain cranked up to 6 or 9 dBs and had the shutter on 1/24th. Other than those two times the camera performs flawlessly. I emailed you a link to some footage shot with it, and can send you some pics of the cam as well if you'd like. |

Brevis Rev 1, Rails, Pelican Case
Hey All-
I'm selling a Brevis rev 1 adapter with cavision rails, shoulder support, hand grips, and 3x3 mattebox. Also included are 2 Tifen 3x3 filters, .6 and .9ND. The whole shebang comes in a Pelican 1550 Case. Specifics; The Brevis is a rev 1 with cf1 cinescreen. It includes the achromat but not the flip module. It doesn't have any of the newer upgrades like externally adjustable vibration, or micro back focus. The battery charger is included and the unit works fine. It was last mounted on an HVX200 and includes both 82mm and 49m step rings. The rails support is a cavision r15b80, I dont have the numbers for the mattebox, shoulder support, or handgrips. You can see a picture of the setup here; http://img126.imagevenue.com/img.php..._122_577lo.JPG The Nikon lens is not included and for illustrative purposes only. My price is 1000.00. Thank You |

Need Battery/charger in Costa Rica for H1
I was relieved of a couple of pieces of luggage in Costa Rica and am stuck without a BP-945/970 Battery/charger. Fortunately (sort of) most of my gear was in a different bag. Does anyone have an extra one for sale. I´m in the country for another month.
Thanks |
