I am hunting for a Sony FS700 for a big upcoming job where we need high frame rates. Would like to use EF lens. PM if you have one for sale?

We are selling six Sony HVR-Z5U cameras that are being fully refurbished and will have six month warranties from Tek Media Group in Burbank, 20 years in the business. We are asking $2,200 each.

These cameras were used in the Emmy-winning show "Intervention" but now that show is over and some of the cameras are being sold.

Each one includes the Sony AC-VQ1050 2-slot charger with cord. These are consecutive but are quick charging. The first camera to sell includes a Sony NP-F970 battery, after that buyers can choose between a Sony NP-F770 and a Lenmar clone 970.

I might be interested, especially in the Raynox lens. Do you see any vignetting when it is widest?

I have a similar model (m31) but have been considering a second camera to help film basketball games. (I'm going back to coaching in high school.)

I bought a bunch of camera gear for a documentary project that eventually died in production. I would rather pay off my debts than have it all just sitting in my closet, so I'm selling most of my gear. This gear has been very carefully cared for, and only used in controlled environments. They are all in practically new condition, some items have only ever been used once or twice! Kept in a non-smoking home. I'm serious when I say these are in practically new condition.

If you know your high-end video camera gear, then I don't need to explain how amazing the AF100 is. If you don't know, google is your friend. don't bother playing 20 questions with me. . . unless they're legit questions about my use and the condition of the items (in other words, no noob questions, please).

I'm looking to sell this lot as a kit, and not break it up into little pieces. I just don't have the patience for it:

* PANASONIC AF100: (body only) the camera is in *MINT CONDITION*, with only 125 hours of use and is still under warranty. the manual, factory battery, and charger/AC adapter are included. [current market price new is $4300 + tax]

* THE AF100 BOOK: the somewhat famous book on the camera by Barry Green. this book is an amazing resource for understanding all the ins and outs of the camera and how to fine-tune the look of your image. [new cost is $90 + tax]

* IDX SSL-VBG50 BATTERY: an extra high-capacity battery. depending on your use, it can give you over 8 hours with a full charge. it has an LED indicator light on the back for easy gauging. it's gone through less than a dozen recharge cycles, so it's practically new. [new cost is $200 + tax]

* IDX LC-VWP DUAL-BATTERY CHARGER: for charging two batteries at once (the factory charger only does one battery at a time). [new cost $180 + tax]

* PORT-A-BRACE RS-AF1F3B RAIN SLICKER: (black) great protection for rain or snow. [new cost $270 + tax]

* PETROL PA-1009 LCD HOOD: allows for significantly better viewing of the LCD screen outdoors. [new $20 + tax]

* LOWEPRO AW DV CAMERA BAG: this is an older (discontinued), but still in immaculate condition, camera bag. lots of room for the AF100, lenses, batteries, and so much more. It's current equivalent is Lowepro's Magnum 650 AW bag, which goes for $330 + tax.


The reason I mention the current prices for each individual item is I want to impress upon you that all this would cost you $5,290 + tax. . . which, with ontario's HST, makes for a figure of $5,977.70.

I'm asking $4,300 (obo) for the lot . . . for which I'll even through in my lightly used Birns & Sawyer 425003 Professional Acrylic Production Slate (with greyscale clapper) which runs about $100 new.

Shipping +insurance costs will be extra, of course.

Hi Phil,

No vignetting with the wide angle. I'm sure the M40 would pair well with the M31. From what I remember they are the same generation of Canon cameras.

XH-A1S for sale in UK
 

Anyone in the UK interested in buying a low hours XH-A1S (considerably less than 100, although I appreciate there is no way of verifying this)?

I had sold it on eBay for £1000 but the buyer (who turned out to be a second hand video equipment dealer/con artist) tried to pull a fast one so I backed away. As a side note, eBay have been completely useless at trying to resolve the issue and have still charged me the sellers fees, even though the evidence is quite plainly in my favour. Hey ho. Anyway, long and short is I'm not EVER going to use eBay again (it's become a poor man's Amazon storefront anyway) but I am still wanting to sell the XH-A1S!

I will consider any reasonable offer and viewing is welcomed. I live ten minutes off J4A or J5 on the M3.

Please PM me for full details (not that there's a lot to tell you about, as it's a straightforward 'as it came originally, all accessories, still boxed' sale.) I'll happily throw in a Canon wide angle adapter and some filters and four (I think) long life batteries.

These are available all over the web for around a grand...grab this one while you can. Aside from the many attributes of this great camcorder is the Canon 20X lens--arguably one of the finest pieces of glass anywhere. This is a 3CCD camera and unlike many of the new CMOS chip cameras, has virtually no artifacting or moire. This camera can also embed date and time onto the tape, making it ideal for legal videography, where this is usually required, and HD is of less importance.

In addition to the camera, I will include UV filter covering the lens, 2 batteries, battery charger and A/C coupler. It is in good condition, not a lot of hours on the heads/drive unit, with one (minor) cosmetic scratch on the tape cassette door.

Tried to sell the camera on eBay and Craigslist and got tired of the spammers/scammers! I’ve been on the DVINFO forum since ’07 and I don’t sense as much of that garbage behavior here.

I've been using the JVC GY-HM100u HD cameras for several years. They are sharp, easy-to-use, reliable, great autofocus, auto-exposure, etc. Recording directly to .mov or .mp4 is extremely useful, and the SD cards have saved WEEKS of my life by not wasting time transferring tapes in real-time.

At the moment, I have five of these. I'm definitely open to selling two. May consider selling three. The cameras come with the original boxes and all the fixins: battery, power cables, mic, adapter, etc.
