Angenieux 12 x 10 Type A C-Mount Adapter

1 Attachment(s)
Hi -

This may be a long shot, but I am looking for the "C cup" adapter for an Angenieux 12 - 120mm Type A lens. This is a 16 mm lens with the viewfinder attached at the base of the lens. Apparently, there are many of these lenses around without the C cup adapter, which has a threaded C mount at the base.

I have attached a photo of the adapter...

Thank you!

Re: Clip on Matte Box

Paul: I think you'll like it. Like all clip ons, give the master ring stem an extra half twist to keep it tight on the lens.

It also has a lot of modular parts with thumbscrews. The unit I used was a little loose in some places, but once I went around and tightened everything down, it worked flawlessly. And it weighs next to nothing!

Re: Clip on Matte Box

It arrives tomorrow.

I purchased the clip on but also the 15mm bar attachment just to have options. Once I watch a few videos on their site I was ready. Looks like a great product and will match all of my glass options when I need a matte box.

Thanks for the recommendation.

FWIW, I found an individual with several of these in Greece on Ebay. I have a couple of them coming, and will pass on his information if anyone is interested. I expect mine to be here within the next 2 weeks...

Re: Sigma 50-150 f2.8 Nikon Mt

Muscle memory is a serious problem I admit.. All myF3 lenses are Nikon except for the Sigma which is opposite , but I also shoot with an EX-1 as well as other cameras and lenses and have years of memory shooting with all sorts of cameras. At this point I am frankly always completely confused as to which direction to turn the focus ring. I wish I could come up with some mental trick to remind myself which way to turn with any lens but its tough to make it clear to my addled old brain.

I've had some thoughts of switching to an FS700 & Canon lenses for speed booster, IS and possible 4K if the Odyssey pans out. I guess an added benefit of no small value would be that all my lenses would turn in the same direction.

Mark Roberts Motion Control SFH-30 for sale

Mark Roberts Motion Control SFH-30 for sale

geoff tompkinson | SFH-30

I am selling a Mark Roberts Motion Control pan/tilt head SFH-30 with added focus motor and a selection of lens rings, added dolly motor with 10m tooth belt. The unit can be controlled via the included joystick control unit or via an ethernet connection from the included mini laptop installed with Flair control software.

It comes with mains electricity power supply and all cables, including Canon 5d style shutter cable (you can get alternatives from Mrmoco).

The unit can be easily powered in the field with a power gorilla battery - which can also be used to power the included laptop.

This is a proper motion control rig with precisely repeatable moves suitable for green screen work etc. The retail price of this set-up, without the added laptop and several other extras I will be throwing in, is around UK £14,000

This Unit has been in my possession for several years but has seldom been used as my focus has been on other types of shot.

I am offering the whole lot for UK £7,500

HI Bill,

Will do, it arrived today and I am very impressed with the quality. You were not kidding it is light. Nice touch with a pouch for each part.

Will put it right to work next week, not this week in the R44. Will have the producer take a few shots of it in action as clip on.

Tilta Baseplate, Canon 80-200mm, Follow Focus, Xbox

5 Attachment(s)
A number of things for sale. All prices include shipping on me.

TILTA BS-T03 Baseplate w/ 15mm Rods - $250
A nice shoulder mount baseplate that works for DSLRs and small video cameras like the AF100. Has a really nice low-profile shoulder pad, front and rear 15mm rod mounting points and in addition to standard 1/4" and 3/8" tripod plate mounting holes, has an integrated V-Lock system for going right on a professional-style tripod plate.

- - - - -

Canon 80-200mm F2.8 "Magic Drainpipe" - $400
A legendary telephoto lens! Has some quirks, but still fully capable of taking great pictures. Glass is in very good condition with no scratches. Some very minor dust. No fungus. Black construction is nice and discreet; get a F2.8 zoom for a fraction of the cost of one of those white lenses. Includes lens, tripod collar, caps, hood, hard case and original box.

- - - - -

LanParte FF-02 - A-B Hard Stop Follow Focus - $275

Bought a year ago and used sparingly. Has quick release rail mount and A/B hard stops. Dry erase marking ring and the gear can switch from front to rear mounting positions. VERY smooth and no backlash. Great piece of kit but I don't use it enough to keep it. Good condition with a few marks in the paint where the hard stops are.

- - - - -

Xbox 360 Slim 4GB Game System - $120

Great for kids or clients. Or both. Comes with a HDMI cable and controller.

- - - - -

LINKYO 7mm Premium Clear Slim Double DVD Cases 100 Pack - $20

Ordered these by mistake. They're slim clear DVD cases that have spots for 2 discs. http://www.supermediastore.com/produ...r-dvd-case-100

Kessler K-Flex & Pocket Jib

I purchased a Kessler K-Flex Dolly Ultimate kit along with a Kessler Pocket Jib kit a few years ago. I've used them a number of times on various projects, and I must say, they work great together! Here are some informational inks to the gear from the Kessler Crane website:

K-Flex kit: K-Pod Complete - Dolly Ultimate
Pocket Jib Kit: Pocket Jib

I am now looking to sell the gear mainly to clear some room and to free up funds for an upcoming project. I purchased the gear for about $2900.00 two years ago and am willing to entertain offers. I'd like to see it go locally first (I'm in the New Orleans area) because of higher shipping costs but am willing to entertain other offers.

I'm asking $1300.00 plus shipping for the K-Flex Ultimate kit and $900.00 for the jib and case. Or... $2100.00 plus shipping for the whole shebang.

I'll post my pics of the rig soon.

Lost in the post-presumed stolen- Canon 150-600mm

I hope this is OK to post this here.

I have had my newly converted Canon FD 150-600 f5.6 lens stolen/gone missing in the UK Postal Service en-route to Norway. I know how these things travel around, so should you be offered this lens I would appreciate any information that might lead to its return.

The lens is a pristine example that was on its way back from Les Bosher after having a universal mount fitted and separate zoom focus wheel conversion.

Serial Number is 10371

It still has the name of the previous owner written with a permanent marker inside the handle. (St**en Jo**son)

Thanks in advance,

James

Transmitter/monitor, great for copters, gimbals, Steadicam

4 Attachment(s)
This is a turnkey SD transmitter package. Why would anyone want analog and/or SD in this day and age? Many cameras still output SD (composite video). Analog transmission is often longer range and more reliable than current WHDI sticks (Nyrius Aries, etc). The analog bands are quite a bit less cluttered than they were back in the day, as broadcast stations are no longer using them. This kit went out with Shane Hurlbut for much of "Act of Valor", he was a big fan.

Included in the package:

Dynawave Transmitter: this is a Canadian-made transmitter built as an alternative and upgrade to the venerable Modulus 3000 (the standard transmitter for years on TV shows and movies). It added digital channel selection and more robust electronics, while keeping the same size and connectors as the Modulus. Very trusty transmitter. Unlike most single channel surveillance-style transmitters, this is a professional grade unit that allows for direct tuning of any frequency by channel number.
More info: VTX-100 Video Transmitter

Camos Monitor: One of the last and best consumer handhelds that allowed direct access tuning to the analog spectrum. Packaged with custom-designed cage and handgrips and battery plate. Very light.
More info: Cramped Attic Technology > Camos Monitor

Comes with four Sony (not OEM) batteries with onboard meters and dual-place smart charger, two P-tap power cables, and custom foamed case.

This package new cost $3500. Selling for $700 OBO.

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera

Selling my 2 week old Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera package;
~ bought it to try it out but camera is too professional for my needs, this is a true film-maker's camera (or professional videographer.)
To make this camera shine, you must be good at color grading, which i am not, hence the sale~~~~
DaVinci Resolve works beautifully with the footage produced, truly professional outstanding quality!
Package includes;
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (in box as purchased when new- all papers and cords included!)
Genuine Sandisk Extreme Pro 128 GB SD Card (this is the ONLY SD card that is approved by Blackmagic for use with this camera normally $239!)
Rode Videomic Pro Stereo (bought 4 days ago- virtually new, this is the "Stereo" version which is more expensive and with better audio capture.)
The Rode Mic shown is the ONLY mic that works with these cameras as they need +20db signal into the camera for audio to be recorded, works beautifully!
(Other mics can be used if used with a preamp.)
3 Batteries total with car charger as well as a/c charger!
$1500 firm, no trades or lower offers- please no time wasters, cash and carry!

Re: Canon XL H1 Professional HDV Camcorder

Any idea of cost to repair the camera? Is more or less unusable at this point? Does this model have the HD/SD SDI output via BNC? Thanks.

Matt Reszke October 27th, 2013 10:46 PM

Re: Canon XL H1 Professional HDV Camcorder

Hi,

I submitted a repair estimate on camcorderrepair.com they said to replace the head and the audio jack it will cost $268. They are based in L.A.

The camera is still usable if you use the FireWire or HD/SDI via bnc however, this model does not support audio through bnc, only video.

If you have an external FireWire HDD recorder or if you use the camera in a studio, it will work great. Or if you like the standard tape recording the repair will be worth it.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you.

Canon XF305

Hello,

I am looking to pick up a used Canon XF305. I have been watching the forums for a while as well as ebay in hopes of finding one. All the ebay auctions I have seen are either damaged or have turned out to be scams when I dig in further. If you have one and want to part with it please let me know.

Thanks,

Re: Canon XF305

Yep,

I saw that one and am very tempted but the camera is to join my other two which I use for live production on an HD-SDI switcher for multi camera setups. I could connect it via HDMI I guess and always make that camera the closest one but I also lose the time code sync for later editing... I guess I could use a slate.... argh....

Thanks, if I get desperate that is an option.

Thanks,

-Josh C.
