I do have the XLR to 1/8" adapter also included is the tripod carrying case. I just took some photos, I apologize for the slightly overexposed shots, just grabbed the P&S, also the camera had a little dust on it. I have the original box and book and cables, but not sure if any software came with camera, if so I don't have it.

1/8" Mics....

I hope I'm not annoying you with all these questions, but someone else may also find this information useful so i am including it here....

I would like to be able to have a wireless mic receiver (which has an 1/8" output) as well as the shotgun both plug into the GL2's Mic port. I assume that the Canon Mic input is a Stereo plug meaning that it might be possible to have some external device to receive to distinct signals and then send one to left and one to right before directing them into the GL2. Have you hear if this is possible, or do you know of such a device? If so, then I believe the GL2 will suit my needs.

It is a stereo input, so I guess you could wire up a Y adapter that would take one channel from the shotgun and the other from the wireless. You just need to make sure each goes to its own channel (either left or right)

AJA Kona 3 Card

AJA Kona 3 Card - $1999.99 obo

Hello. I have a fairly new AJA Kona 3 card I am selling. I bought it new at B&H Photo and Video in February and had them professionally install it in my Mac Pro. It works great and I've only actually used it a handful of time. The only reason I am selling it is to help pay for school next year. It comes with the cables and paperwork that was originally packaged with it, unfortunately however I do not have the original box anymore. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have or to make an offer. Thanks.

Also, make sure the Y-adapter is a stereo adapter instead of a mono one. I made this mistake once and lets just say that mono Y-adapters don't mix audio very well.

I would get something liek this that breaks the 1/8" mini out to the individual channels. Usinga stereo to stereo Y adapter means you will nede to make sure each input is on one of the seperate channels.

In looking at adapters, I think a Beachtek is probably what I will need because I want the ability to automatically limit the ceiling to avoid clipping (people tend to yell and cheer and clap at weddings so that is a very dynamic environment).

M only other issue is finding a wireless lavaliere system that outputs XLR (for less than $300) or finding a 1/8" female to XLR for a possible wireless system currently in the classifieds.
