As a drone the Mavic is clearly better, but as a complete camera system I think the Karma still has an advantage.
GoPro is a better camera in terms of detail, dynamic range, codec,...

I didn't ask the booth reps for details, but on the shogun banner it listed XLR input as one of the features, presumably via a breakout cable as it's too thin for on-board connectors.

According to the recent zacuto interview/review the GH4 will output 10 bit 422 4k via the hdmi. At this point I don't believe any of the Atmos products support 4k though, not sure there's anything...
