If you are using canon lenses, you can use shutter priority mode... dial in the shutter speed you want and it will set your aperture to get a good exposure.

Nikon have openly addressed the issue, Panasonic knew what they were doing from the off.... and Canon "might" look into it for this model, but likely will mark up a new cam instead.

If it is anything like the frame burst mode of the F1.... it means that it will take 30fps for 1 second.... then stop recording (the F1 can do 60fps though)

I think most of us Europeans want 25p because that is what we have to broadcast. There are some workarounds to covert from 30p to 25p but we shouldn't have to use these when buying a European...

1/60 shutter speed the sweet spot for 5d?

I have been mainly using the HVX200 for shooting and always set it to 180.0d instead of choosing shutter speeds (unless I need a certain look). Is 1/60 a similar look to 180.0d?
