Re: Canon C100 and WDR Profile

Steve, I have never used internal noise reduction with the camera. The few times that I needed noise reduction, I did it in post.

Re: Canon C100 and WDR Profile

Steve, I don't have a problem with noise. I usually shoot with the wdr profile, and its actually very good. I just want an image that's more flat as it relates to sharpness, without having to use the...

Re: Engagement Video

Hi Adrian thanks for the feed back. I actually shot the video with a frame rate of 30p and shutter at 60. The reason I was able to show so many different activities, is because I took the couple to...

Re: C100 and white balance

Yes its hard to believe but the custom white balance is not always your best option with this camera. I use it most of the time, but there are times when one of the presets does a better job. I made...

Re: C100 strobing

The first time I watched in SD now that I re-watched in HD, it looks much better. Make sure that if you are shooting 24p that your shutter is set to 48. When you export, make sure that you are not...

Re: C100 strobing

You are not panning to fast. To me it looks like you are using incorrect render settings or perhaps shooting 24pf and not handling it properly in post.

I'm thinking about buying this lens, but the lack of image stabilization makes me think twice. How forgiving is this lens when it comes to movement? I typically shoot on a monopod.
