Custom Profiles for GH4?

I was using some custom profiles for the 5DM3 and was wondering if there were any good ones out for the GH4? I like the idea of shooting flat for projects, but would like to cut down on post for...

Re: First m43 lens? Which one?

When it comes to purely photography, I know what I would get first. This is going to be for video mostly. If I were to buy for photography I'd get the 12-35 2.8 Panny lens. Then again, since I won't...

It may seem silly, I know...

I bought the BMPCC because I wanted to practice shooting RAW footage. I bought (And sold) the Panny 14-45mm f/3.5-4.5 just because it was cheap. Use a cheap adapter...

Re: Audio not recording to Ninja Blade

Late replying...

I just got around to testing out the setup.

I too had to set it to +12db in order to get just a wee bit of levels movement...I spoke directly into the mic about 10cm away, saw...

Re: Audio not recording to Ninja Blade

According to ATOMOS some mics will work, some won't. They have no list of working mics and non-working mics.

With the audio not being delivered over HDMI from the 5DM3, you have to use a line in...

Am I missing something?

I have a Rode StereoVideo mic that I'm pluging directly into the NB. I'm getting my video off the 5Dmiii. Video meters don't move. In the options they are set to record but...

Re: Rode smartLav and android apps?

Yeah, I figured that would be the case. It's just placing the H4n somewhere on the talent that's going to be difficult. If they're just sitting there then that's what I'll try.

I'm...

Understanding LUTs and RAW

Please correct me if I'm wrong:

When you record in film mode on the BMPCC, you record a flat profile. When you import your footage into whatever NLE you use, you apply a LUT that shows you what...

I've seen some packages on Amazon and ebay. The Nikon batteries are about 40 USD here in Japan but there are Chinese brands that are 2 packs with charger for much less, around 20 USD.

When...

I've heard that the RAW files may come warpped in a QT container allowing them to be brought into any of the current NLEs. If not, open in Lightroom, edit your first frame, then apply the same edit...

When it comes to photography, I can...
