the frame size you focus on has nothing to do...
the frame size you focus on has nothing to do with depth of field. thats what we call "field of view." lets say you want to use a 35mm still camera lens on an adapter... a still camera lens...

the dvx100 doesnt shoot in true 16x9, it just...
the dvx100 doesnt shoot in true 16x9, it just adds bars to the top and bottom of a 4:3 image. so edit it all in a 4:3 project and that should solve your problem just fine, unless you want to stretch...

it all depends on what the specs are for your...
it all depends on what the specs are for your cameras compression recording to the SD card and what format it records... i believe its mpeg usually... find your manual or find it online and read...
