The expodisc will give you a neutral white balance, if you think a grey card is better or easier then just get that, both tools will help you in getting a better whitebalance.

Press and hold that fn1 button for a few seconds and a button set menu will appear, there you have to scroll through the options until you find the etc mode function and then just select it.

ETC mode means the camera crops in on the sensor in order to magnify, that should be without any visual loss in image quality.

You can also link etc mode to any button on your camera, just press and hold any button and a button set menu will appear, there you"ll find a gazillion functions, including etc mode to choose from...

As far as I know that doesn't exist but instead you can use etc mode; go to the second tab from the top in the menu (the camera icon without the "m") , page 3 of 4, Ex.Tele Conv - set it to "on"

A full frame camera will not give a better image quality then a gh5 just because it's full frame, there is more to it then sensor size only but you don't have to take my word for it :)
