I've had a similar problem before. Mine has never cut out but 2-3 times when I turned the unit on, it had no audio. All my settings were the same so there is no reason I could see for that to happen....

I would shoot it for sure. I think it is the groom's call if he wants to have the camera there. I would charge a higher rate for the added stress and acting involved on your part.
