Re: X70 top handle replacement.
Thanks! I picked it up. Hopefully it works!
I was going to say, I don't really need it because my sennheiser shock mount fits on there, but having it just for completeness is nice, especially, if...

X70 top handle replacement.
Is it possible to just buy the XLR handle?
I picked up a used x70 w/ 4K upgrade installed today because it was a killer deal ($875) at the local shop, but it didn't have the handle attachment.

Re: 3 new Sony 4K palm camcorders
I have an XA20 and a CX900 right now.
I have to say I really prefer the control layout on the body of the Sony over the Canon.
So just based on that, I'll probably go with the new Sony's. For...

Re: DSLR and a Steadicam workflow
That would be interesting to see.
But I'm guessing it's just the regular Full time AF like they've always had.
If it were a new fangled video focus system like canons dpaf, I would have...

Re: DSLR and a Steadicam workflow
I use a Nikon D7200 with a Tokina 11-16 at 5.6 on a Glidecam HD2000.
Works most of the time. I set focus and then try to stay about whatever distance away, usually 6-8 feet I guess.
Being at...

Re: Do My Wedding Packages Make Sense?
Yeah, we've had some people not pay, or have had trouble getting payment after the wedding.
Now, it's $500 to book and the balance due 30 days prior to the wedding... and I'm contemplating moving...

On solo vs team shooting - there are a ton of benefits when shooting with a second and third shooter, if done properly.
I know every time I do a wedding solo, invariably, the final quality suffers...

Re: Selling Video Downloads
I always give the studios as many copies as they want for the staff... usually around 10-15.
I use to give them a cut of $5 per sale back in the day... but writing those checks hurt when it came...

Re: Selling Video Downloads
My preferred approach would be to have the "DVD fee" added to the actual dance recital cost and then every parent would get a DVD and an HD download.
I'm thinking something like $30.
So if the...

My last 2 of 3 weddings were outdoors where the DJ mic'd the minister with a wireless mic.
I also had a wireless mic.

I'm...
