You should only be using JVC ProHD stock in your camera. Roll the dice if you can afford to ruin your camera or don't care about ruining the shot you are capturing.

In MpegStreamclip you can export as a progressive movie. You should be able to export as a progressive movie from those other apps - though I don't use those so can't tell you the settings.
