Well said, I also think these "high end" consumercams fall in between 2 markets, consumers are not most likely planning to pay that amount of cash for a camera while they can have reasonable good HD...

Have a yamaha c24 as well and use it with a a lav mic and the c24 easily fits into a pocket but lately I have strapped it onto the handle of a wireless handmicrophone as well with excellent results....
