Re: Review & videos: The Blackbird Camera Stabilizer

This looks like a great mix between the Glidecam and Merlin. Shame there are no UK dealers selling the Blackbird. I like many others had no joy with the Merlin so im looking to try something else. I...

Re: Kevin + Rebecca | Wedding Highlights | Serendipity Studios

Fantastic, loved the somewhat 'chilled' pace to the edit, felt easy to watch. And good to know there is still hope for a great film if it decides to rain (living in the UK, this is very important).

Re: Fine Artist Promo Video

Very cool, well cut between shots, kept me interested - 50p looks great, nice lighting in the workshop.

Re: Destination Wedding :|: {Plymouth MA} !!

I think the XF300 and DSLR footage flow quite seamlessly but i think you could do better with the overall color correction to help maintain that flow. With a shallow DOF it's hard to tell the...

Re: Freelancers

Maybe you're not offering enough money to make it worthwhile for them to stay since they're not allowed to use any of the footage they capture. If you were offering a good rate i can't imagine why...

Re: Av8Chuck 2012 Demo

I always think a show-reel should be quick and punchy, but often times its hard to actually show off particular aspects of yourr videography expertise without a wide array of clips.

Re: Av8Chuck 2012 Demo

Seemed great to me, not sure what you're worried about? You seem to have enough experience in the field to know what makes a good show reel.

Re: Baiguate Summer Camp 2012

That was kick ass! Have to echo the comments above, very 'epic' feel to it and you really caught the emotion perfectly for example when the children were leaving their parents and the excitement...

Re: Broken Cycle

Brilliant Clifton, would have liked to have seen faster focus pulls in some scenes but that's the downside of working handheld with a DSLR i guess. Otherwise excellent production all round, superb...

Re: I'm not sure I know what to say...

Seems like you didn't save them any money at all... You just put them $800,000 ( on average) in the hole between the time that kids born and it turns 18! Haha, just kidding. Awesome man, very...

Re: The Hobbit shooting in 48p on RED cameras

I have been so excited for The Hobbit, but can't help but feel this 48p business may completely ruin it for me. Film is all about escapism, 24p is the vessel that takes you there. I am barely over...

Re: Not Again

Had this occur with me whilst editing a wedding for a client. Incredibly frustrating. How i dealt with it was to move the rushes with the effected clips to a new folder (try the desktop)....

Re: Slider recommendation

Re: Lovely + Dan | Wedding Highlights

Hi again Sigmund,

I see you highly recommend the Konova Slider. Is there anything in particular that you like? Have you tried other sliders? Will be looking in to getting a slider at some point...
